At Cloud Construct, we are a talented and fun-loving group. Though we all work remotely from our homes each day, we still maintain a high level of camaraderie through daily conversations, virtual happy hours, and work together days (when safe to do so).

Get to know Experience Developer, Alex Ciampi, in this installment of the Employee Spotlight Series. Alex talked to us about what he does at Cloud and some of his favorite things about his role, as well as about his love of golf and surfing. Alex has been at Cloud since April 2015 and we're excited for you to learn more about him and his work at Cloud!

Meet Alex!

Cloud Construct: Before working at Cloud Construct, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?

Alex Ciampi: I was a tennis instructor.

CC: What is your role at Cloud Construct?

AC: I am an Experience Developer, which is a Front-End Web Developer.

CC: How did you first learn about Cloud Construct?

AC: Arra, one for the cofounders, first reached out to me on LinkedIn when they were looking for a Front-End Developer.

CC: Describe what you were like at age 10.

AC: A nerd, playing video games and various card games.

CC: How do you balance your career at Cloud Construct and family?

AC: My gaming PC

CC: What drew you to Cloud Construct originally? And how has Cloud Construct changed since?

AC: Working in an agency setting—nothing has changed in that regard, just grown as a company.

CC: If you could pick one theme for Cloud Construct to turn into a book about the company, what would it be?

AC: How companies can have everyone work remotely and still be successful.

CC: If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?

AC: A professional golfer or surfer

CC: What is your favorite sport?

AC: Mix between Golf and Surfing

CC: What is your hidden talent?

AC: Probably any pro surfer at a major surf break. Having the skills and being able to surf those waves would be quite a rush of adrenaline.

AC: The iPhone, before it you had to have multiple devices or items to do what it does; phone, music, calendar, calculator, etc.
