Affiliated Professional Services Medical Billing has been a long term partner with Cloud Construct, and when the opportunity came to consider a redesign we were ready with recommendations. We delivered a solution that would allow their marketing team to make quick updates to the site content within an updated, modern design, on a robust and scalable platform.
Affiliated Professional Services "APS" has always been at the top of the medical billing industry when it comes to technology and innovation. APS leverages multiple technologies to provide a streamlined billing and payment system for physicians and patients, and has been a partner with Cloud Construct for over four years while we both worked to maintain and monitor APS's billing systems. When it was time to redesign and retool their public website, Cloud Construct knew they needed something that was not only polished and professional, but also something that could scale with APS as they wanted to offer more features to clients.
APS wanted a site that would allow them to tell their great story, provide testimonials of the great client relationships they have maintained and also show how they can be thought leaders in the industry. They also wanted to be able to process contact and support requests for physicians and patients in a streamlined manner. Finally, the ability to publish their thought leadership and industry insights was paramount to success of the site. APS's marketing team wanted to be able to edit content as they needed to, and a Content Management System was needed for these goals to be achieved.
APS and Cloud Construct worked to define the sitemap and structure of their new site together. Through a series of User Experience focused working sessions the goals were transformed into a clear experience for both physicians and patients. The new sitemap needed to account for scalability down the line as well as first launch, and this flexibility was baked into the structure.
A new visual design that was not only appealing but professional and clean was also developed and applied to the experience. A style and brand guide were delivered to APS so they could follow this going forward and make sure all of the marketing materials were in line with brand goals.
Lastly, Cloud implemented a content management system that we've used for the last six years. Orchard Core is Microsoft's open source Content Management system, built on .NET Core. .NET Core is the new version of Microsoft's popular .NET Framework. This has positioned APS to be on the latest Microsoft technology offering, and hosting it in the Azure cloud was an obvious and great fit. Orchard Core is focused on performance first and cloud hosting as well. These key aspects allow for a fast site that can grow with APS.
The result is one that all aspects of the business are happy about. Cloud and APS have continued their partnership to maintain and monitor the site on a monthly basis, and will launch new features and functionality as needed, with Cloud always there to help. The new site comes with a brand new domain and a feeling of pride and professionalism that APS can be happy about.
